There’s No Money in Old Money

In the first section of The Old Money Book I talk about the Core Values of individuals and families who’ve had wealth and privilege for several generations. These values include health, education, and financial independence, among others.

In the second part of the book, I detail How Old Money Does It. Here I discuss the simple ways that Old Money lives: how it dresses, how it behaves in public, how it speaks, and how it socializes, and more.

Aside from the sections on men’s and women’s attire and cars, I generally don’t suggest spending money or buying things. And when I do suggest buying something, it’s an item that will not cost an arm and a leg and will last a long time.

Being Old Money is not about being a consumer. So–aside from the book which retails for all of $2.99–I don’t have any product to sell you. I don’t have a seminar for you to attend. I don’t have DVDs or a newsletter. And, at present, there aren’t any ads on the blog or Facebook page.

In short, there’s no money in Old Money. The reward for me is sharing the wisdom that I’ve seen benefit so many people, regardless of their income level. The reward for you is a richer, more fulfilling life that’s not based on a product, but a philosophy.

Old Money isn’t something you buy. It’s something you personally invest in. So buy the book. Read it. Adopt the principles. And watch it pay off.

Cha-ching.

    1. The only thing I can think of would be the international exchange rate if you’re outside the US. Perhaps Amazon might have some insight…?

  1. Yeah, I am reading your blog in India, and the price of the book is going up each day!Anyway, I am learning a lot through your blog posts………till I get the book! ☺️

  2. I like your blog posts very much.My father tells me some of the same things, but earlier I used to feel that he is ‘old-fashioned!’ But lately, I have realized that when it comes to values one should always look towards the past, because those values have stood the test of time.

  3. I bought the ebook! And I liked whatever I have read till now…the core values section. It seems to be the type of book one comes back to again and again (at different stages in life) and meditates & puts into practice, till the precepts become a part of one’s personality.

    1. Thank you so much! I’m really happy that it resonates with you. Yes, it does soak in after awhile and become a part of you. All the best – BGT
