Hi Mary! The OCBD is an Oxford Cloth Button Down shirt. It is an old money staple as well as a WASPy staple and a preppy staple. They are widely worn in business, but some men, like my husband and, I suspect, Byron, are very particular about the make, maintenance and condition of their OCBDs. My husband, for example, is very open minded about these matters and therefore he has OCBDs in all three colors (Blue, White and Blue&White). For a lot of OMGs, male and female, old and young, they are the go-to shirt under most circumstances. Hope you don’t mind my jumping in on this one, Byron. I couldn’t resist.
