A Note of Thanks

It’s been a great year for all things Old Money.

Sales for the original Old Money Book has been brisk, increasing every month since its original publication in 2013.  In addition to ebook and paperback sales, there’s been a warm welcome for the audio book, which came out on Audible this year.

The Old Money Guide To Marriage, with its no-nonsense approach to dating and commitment, is quickly becoming a point of reference for parents and young people alike.

More importantly, the support, comments, and contributions from the readers of the books and this blog has been absolutely wonderful this year. It is helpful. Constructive comments from readers add more than I could ever hope to offer to blog posts and questions that come in.  It is also heartwarming to know that my writing is appreciated and beneficial.

I appreciate all of you very much. Please have a joyful and safe holiday, and a prosperous new year.

  1. A very Happy Christmas to you as well, Byron, and to all OMG’s that celebrate. This season I am especially praying for peace to our world and all its peoples in 2017.

  2. Byron, it’s a terrific book and should be required reading in high schools and colleges everywhere! Merry Christmas to you and your family and best wishes for the new year.

  3. Merry Christmas to all!!
I’ve enjoyed the books as well as this blog and the reader comments. God willing, we’ll meet again next year.

  4. Congrats on the continued success of TOMB. You truly deserve it, and the ‘free’ addon service you provide through this blog just makes your books so much more valuable. Happy holidays to you Byron, and to all readers here.

  5. Merry Christmas everyone, and best wishes for a wonderful 2017! I look forward to reading many more posts here, Byron. Thank you for your books and blog. What are your plans and goals for the new year?

    1. Thank you, Philippa. Hope all is well down under.

I’m finishing an Italian Renaissance trilogy (a novel in three volumes, very Dickens and Dumas in tone) and will be looking for a publisher in London in the new year. A follow-up to the trilogy will be a darker, romantic novel entitled “The Gravedigger of Venice”.

I’ll also be writing an ‘Old Money’-ish spy novel about a Boston brahmin who had quit the CIA, but gets pulled back into action when one of his classmates from prep school is murdered.

I have a few film and television projects in development, as well, so there’s no shortage of things to do.

I hope you and yours have a fabulous 2017. Thank you again for your support and kind words. – BGT

  6. Hi Byron. I’ve been away on vacation over the entire holiday and have been completely unplugged. The latter was glorious, the former also wonderful.
