Question: does Madras follow the cycle of linen jackets, light colored outerwear, and seersucker? (The not before Easter and never after Labor Day rule?) A favorite jacket of mine has languished in the closet since September, with the exception of a little use at a beach side reception in mid October. What’s the best rule of thumb when it comes to this sort of jacket?
Thanks, Matthew. I would stay with the Easter/Labor Day calendar for Madras, seersucker, and linen. But if it’s unseasonably warm in October or March, I think the linen is the easiest thing to wear without causing too much commotion. – BGT
“Just a little!” Excuse me while I giggle profusely…I love this!
Thank you! – BGT
