This brand really gets proportions right, but unfortunately ordering from Europe makes them a little expensive, compared to similar quality shoes. That said, I believe there is something to say about supporting local craftsmanship as well.
Regarding the poetry, it reminds me of a quote I have read on the journal of the Parisian Gentleman: “Wearing crests of other people belongs to the footmen”. Not particularly accurate, as I am a footman and also avoid wearing (loud) “crests”…
