We have neither cable nor a microwave and our children are just fine! They are off to college and focused on being the best they can be. They have compassion and a “groundedness” that elicits many kind comments. For fun they ski instruct on their breaks. This site is a breath of fresh air…especially when it seems like we are alone. No cable here, but we do have a microwave… It’s tucked back into the pantry because it so rarely gets used that it’s a waste of counter space. Isn’t the show based on some books? I haven’t watched or read them.
