Old Money Video #2

I’m delighted to let all of you know that the second video I did with Tom Miler of M Publishing in Poland is now online. (Some of you have already seen the video and congratulated me. Thank you again.)

Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/RGjVyxxFHVM

Among other things, Tom and I discuss the concept of having a certain ‘standard of living’ versus a certain ‘quality of life.’

Enjoy, and please feel free to share the video with your friends.

Thank you.

  1. Very good video. This reminds me of the time when a friend of mine from boarding school (who’s family was not rich) came to visit us at home. She was surprised to learn that we did not have a fancy, expensive coffee maker but instead drank instant coffee. She expected our house to be filled with the latest high-end consumer products. It was one of my first experiences in how non-rich people think rich people live. I later heard the expression “high thinking, low living” to describe the old money lifestyle. I think it’s pretty accurate.

  2. Mr. Tully, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I must say, your voice is very pleasant and soothing.

  3. Great follow-up interview. The story of the young man on the plane was touching and illustrates the important things in life.

  4. Byron,

This is an excellent set of videos. I felt inspired to put my feet up on my 1920s mahogany desk and re-read OMB. It’s refreshing to step away from digital formats and get back to the natural way of learning and reflection while reinforcing Old Money Values.

Wishing you much success with the Polish publication and all your endeavors.
