I should add that both my grandfather and his brother were Harvard men and both loved wearing bow ties, especially in their younger years. While I adopted the ocbd shirts, tweed jackets, and blue blazers, I just couldn’t do bow ties.

I know it’s a thing with a certain crowd but I can’t get beyond the nerd aspect of bow ties. Unless, of course, we’re talking formal wear.
