Season’s Greetings…and News

I wanted to take a moment and wish all of you the very happiest of holidays.

Your participation and loyalty are greatly appreciated.

I’ve been posting for more than a decade, primarily about the culture of Old Money and how adopting the values, priorities, and habits of America’s Upper Class can benefit anyone from any background.

Of course, this blog promotes the books I’ve written on the subject: The Old Money Book, The Old Money Guide to Marriage, Old Money New Woman, and Old Money Style.

In 2026, it’s very possible that the blog is going to change in appearance and substance. As my plans for this transition are still in progress, I can’t fully share what the new site might look like or how it might be different.

However, it will still be my writing, not AI, and my opinions, for better or worse. I still anticipate producing content related to Old Money. I think that’s a valuable and important message. However, I’ll expand the range of topics discussed here. Let that be a comfort and a warning.

Of course, I’ll write more books. The next nonfiction book on Minimalism will be released in the spring of 2026. The long-awaited novel is still in the works, but now a priority. Revisions are happening at present, but there is still much work to be done. As I will be pursuing a traditional publisher for the debut novel, I obviously have no idea when it will be released.

I am assembling an email list, which I have not done in the past. If you would like to be included on my email list, please let me know. In keeping with my personality and principles, I won’t be bombarding anyone with promotional “Buy my book now!” emails. I won’t be sending out a lot of emails. And I won’t sell or share your information with anyone for any reason.

You can send me a direct email to my personal account with the subject line of EMAIL LIST PLEASE and I’ll put it in a folder for reference. Or you can do the same thing with a reply to this blog post.

In summary, change is afoot.

Stay safe. Happy New Year.

  1. To the year ahead – may it be as luminous and distinguished as the company you keep. To the new chapters you are about to write. To new beginnings, and the excellence I know they shall bring. Happy New Year!
